I'M BACK FROM CANADA AND OTHER UPDATES

Okay just a few agency notes. RUMOR CONTROL - Yes, I Frankie am in negotiations for the sale of the agency. I will be the owner until December 31, 2005. Everything will stay the same as far as phone numbers the name and location of the agency ect. We are trying to make this a very smooth transition. All talent will stay registered with the agency. All dead files meaning we cannot contact you will be shredded as is our company policy to protect your information. I will remain in Las Vegas. I plan on utilizing my 25 years of industry knowledge in the modeling/acting/performing industry along with my degree in corporate communications to run a seminar and consulting company to assist up and coming talent. Once we have all the licensing established for that company I will put out further notices. Also once it gets closer to the end of the year we will introduce you all to the new owner and keep you posted about updates or changes. Otherwise it's business as usual.

- CHECK PICK UP -

If you worked on the "Mesquite" commercial and were unable to get your check before I left for Canada you can pick them up this Friday Sept. 30/05 between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. You also can try picking them up tomorrow Thursday Sept 29th in the afternoon but you will have to call first as I'm not sure what time I will be back from meetings.

IF YOU WERE ONE OF THE PEOPLE WHO SHOT FOR THE CALIFORNIA CASINO PRINT AD. GOOD NEWS THE ADVERTISING AGENCY FINALLY GOT PAID SO WE SHOULD GET THAT CHECK ANY DAY. WILL POST FOR UPDATES AS SOON AS I HAVE IT.

(Note: Very important. The advertising agency told me that some of the talent were calling directly to check on payment. Please be professional, don't call them. They told you to call your agent which is us. We do the calling. By bugging them yourself does not hurry them along it just makes you the talent look unprofessional.)

One more note on the business side of things not just this business any business. If you call someone and have questions or need information it is always a good idea to ask the person you are calling if they have a few minutes. This lets the other party know you respect their time. 2) If they do sound harried, harassed or tell you they can't talk right now DON'T TAKE IT PERSONALLY. This is a very deadline oriented business. We are usually trying to get packages out to clients or finishing booking talent for a last minute gig. By constantly making it personal and accusing the other person of thinking they are too good for you that does make it personal. I would have to say about 90% of the people/agents/casting directors I've met in my 25 years in this business just want the best person for the job. Are they abrupt, tense, stressed, short at times yes. It's the nature of the business. So if someone can't talk to you at the moment or rushes you out the door then don't ruin your reputation or lose jobs by accusing them of things just say "I'm sorry I caught you at a bad time I will try again later or when do you think might be a good time for you." If you can act with grace under the worst circumstances people will remember that and want to call you first for jobs. Just advise! :)

- AUDITION -

-Client is looking for attractive, fit FEMALE MODELS
-Age range legal 18 up to 29
-Audition time Thursday between 10am and 3pm
-Must be outgoing, friendly use to mingling/promotions. Tradeshow environment
-Health/fitness industry, will be wearing bikinis so you must have a good swimsuit body.
-Show dates are Friday October 14/05 9:30am -5:30pm
Saturday October 15/05 9:30am -5:30pm OR 2:00pm - 10:00pm.
-Must be available for both days.

I know this is last minute so if you MEET THE REQUIREMENTS please call the agency ASAP and let us know you would like to go to the audition. At 252-8382. We will call you back as soon as we can.
