feature film RED HERRING are casting

RED HERRING is casting for two new short films. Each will be a 1-day shoot,
to be shot on January 31st and February 7th in Las Vegas .

All speaking roles are $100/day deferred.
All cast and crew will receive copy, credit & meals.

The audition dates for both films are:

January 14th from 6p.m.-10p.m
January 15th from 6p.m.-10p.m
January 17th from 10a.m.-6p.m
January 18th from 6p.m.-10p.m


Actors only need to attend 1 audition time.

Project 1:

The first project will be an adult comedy, to be directed by Brandon Christensen,
shot on the Red One camera and likely included in a feature film compilation.
Shooting is tentatively scheduled for 1/31.


[Character Breakdowns]

· Dave (Male) - Mid 30's to Mid 40's - husband to sharon and a family man.

· Sharon (Female) - Mid 30's to Mid 40's - good looking woman. Has deep
political aspirations. Wife of Dave.

· Timmy (Male) - 3-5 yrs old, son of Dave and Sharon.

· Angie (Female) - 8-12 yrs old. Daughter of Dave and Sharon.

· Eric (Male) - 6-9 yrs old. Son of Dave and Sharon.

· Bob (Male) - Preppy, average looking man, neighbor of Dave and Sharon.
Kammy's Husband.

· Kammy (Male) - Conservative, average looking woman, neighbor of
Dave and Sharon. Bob's Wife.

· Tom (Male) - Police officer, average looking.

· We need 3 Featured Extras, to play the parts of a "Cops" type
film crew following Tom.

Project 2:

The second project is an intense thriller, to be directed by Jace Whitten, and intended for
internet distribution. Rehearsals will be 2/6 and shooting on 2/7.

[Character Breakdowns]

· Brad (Male) - Early twenties, very handsome, college student. The guy every girl wants.

· Thad (Male) - Early twenties, heavy-set, college student.

· Chad (Male) - Early twenties, very preppy college student. Average looks.

· Tad (Male) - Early twenties, the classic jock in great shape.

· Ronny (Male) - Late teens, skinny and very frail. Low self-esteem (think Michael Cera
or the Mclovin character)

· David (Male) - Late teens, a bit preppy, better than average looks.

· Cameron (Male) - Late teens, your average 18 year old , brooding. Average looks.

·We also need 10-15 early twenties, college looking males to act as extras.
