Role: Understudy for the role of "The Manager" A middle-aged Caucasian male
comic actor with a strong sense of improvisation and who can move well. He is
an imposing impresario who is as arrogant as he is funny.
Requirements: Theater actor or stand-up comedian;
Strong stage presence, comedic sense, and charisma;
Improvisational skills; Good dance or movement ability;
Diverse stage experience (Broadway, stand-up, etc.);
Good physical shape and no predilection for vertigo (fear of heights).

Audition Announcement Cirque du Soleil is currently searching for a male actor
to fill an understudy position on its newest creation, Banana Shpeel.
Auditions will be held in New York City, this Saturday and Sunday, March 6th and 7th, 2010.
